We deliver structured, community-based programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum conditions, in achieving meaningful participation, personal growth, and community inclusion.
Our programs are designed using person-centred planning principles, incorporating individualized supports, structured routines, and evidence-informed approaches to foster independence, communication, and social connection. Programs are delivered by trained staff and volunteers within a supported ratio model, ensuring safety, dignity, and individualized attention across all activities.

Class Agape is Milal’s core weekly program, providing structured social and academic development support for neurodivergent individuals with developmental disabilities in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment, has evolved into a multi-domain developmental program that integrates life skills, social learning, recreation, and community participation.

Milal offers seasonal camps designed to provide extended, immersive environments where participants can deepen skills, build relationships, and experience new levels of independence beyond routine.

CAMP AGAPE & CAMP TELEIOS
Camp Agape, Western Milal branch joint camp, is a multi-day 2 nights and 3 day camp offers individuals with special needs and their dedicated 1:1 aides a unique opportunity to participate in exciting activities, form meaningful connections, and experience Los Angeles, United States.
Camp Teleios is an advanced multi-day residential-style 2 nights and 3 day camp, designed for participants ready for broader community exposure and travel-based experiences, providing Vancouver participants an immersive travel experience, encouraging personal growth, exploration, and unforgettable moments at iconic destinations like Disneyland and Universal Studios.

MILAL ARTS FESTIVAL
The Milal Arts Festival is a celebration of creativity and self-expression, where participants are given the opportunity to explore the beauty of Vancouver's natural landscapes through the lens of their artistic vision. With the guidance of student volunteers from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, participants engage in a variety of artistic activities including drawing, painting, and other forms of visual arts. The festival is a testament to the transformative power of art, as it empowers individuals with special needs to unleash their innate artistic talents and share their unique perspectives with the world.

WINTER CAMP
Winter Camp, a highly anticipated program, offers an exceptional opportunity for participants to expand their horizons and sharpen their snowboarding, skiing, and snowshoeing skills. Moreover, it provides the perfect setting for creating lasting memories with friends while enjoying the beauty of winter. Our Winter Camp serves as a valuable outlet for those who share a love of snow, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this enriching experience each year.
