Where Community Comes to Life

Programs designed to create spaces of belonging, growth, and joyful participation for individuals with disabilities and their families.

They are spaces where individuals are seen, relationships are formed, and life is shared together.

Each program is built around relationship, dignity, and meaningful engagement.

In June & July

CAMP AGAPE & CAMP TELEIOS

Camp Agape, a joint 2 nights and 3 day camp that brings together Western Milal branches (Vancouver, Seattle, Northern California, and Southern California), offers individuals with special needs and their dedicated 1:1 aides a unique opportunity to participate in exciting activities, form meaningful connections, and experience the love of Christ in action.

Camp Teleios, a Vancouver Milal specific 3 night 4 day camp, takes this a step further by providing Vancouver participants an immersive travel experience, encouraging personal growth, exploration, and unforgettable moments at iconic destinations, all while reflecting on the beauty of God’s creation and His purpose for each life.

MILAL ARTS FESTIVAL

The Milal Arts Festival is a celebration of creativity and self-expression, where participants are given the opportunity to explore the beauty of Vancouver's natural landscapes through the lens of their artistic vision. With the guidance of student volunteers from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, participants engage in a variety of artistic activities including drawing, painting, and other forms of visual arts. The festival is a testament to the transformative power of art, as it empowers individuals with special needs to unleash their innate artistic talents and share their unique perspectives with the world.

WINTER CAMP

Winter Camp is a highly anticipated event hosted by Wheat (MILAL) Mission Society in Vancouver. This program offers an exceptional opportunity for participants to expand their horizons and sharpen their snowboarding, skiing, and snowshoeing skills. Moreover, it provides the perfect setting for creating lasting memories with friends while enjoying the beauty of winter. Our Winter Camp serves as a valuable outlet for those who share a love of snow, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this enriching experience each year.

More Than Programs

These are not just activities.
They are spaces where individuals are seen, valued, and invited into community.

Sow into lives that are being restored, welcomed, and transformed.
